NOTE: Manager would prefer the submittal of local candidates. If candidates are submitted from out of the area, please make a clear notation next to their location of their willingness to relocate at their own expense. Expenses are not authorized on this position. Again, manager would rather local candidates but for those willing to relocate, this is a temporary position therefore hours and assignment length is not guaranteed. Please indicate the current physical location of your candidate (i.e. resides in Chicago) as well as the residency status of the candidate (i.e. US Citizen, H1 Visa, Green Card). Maximum Pay Rate = $45.00/hr Location: Telcordia - Huntsville, AL (Work expected to be performed in Huntsville, AL) Start Date of Assignment: 11/15/10 (as soon as possible) Expected End Date of Assignment: 10/31/11 (or TBD) Travel: None expected but should travel be necessary to a customer site, upon approval of the hiring manager, reimbursement would occur. Detailed Job Description: Product Integrator; The resource works on software development initiatives of moderate scope/complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Regularly exercises judgment to determine appropriate action. Responsible for contributing to the completion of specific programs, projects and commitments established for the work unit while operating under the general direction of a manager. The position requires the resource to have specific knowledge of software development discipline differentiated by skills, education, experience, level of complexity and degree of autonomy. Position requires 4-6 years of related experience with a BS degree; 2-4 years experience with an MS degree. Skill Sets / Qualifications The required programming experience must involve C# .NET, Java, JSP, knowledge of relational database management systems such as Oracle and/or SQL Server; and customer-facing, software integration role. The potential resource should also be familiar with ESRI's (Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.) software such as ArcSDE, ArcIMS, and ArcGIS V9.3.1; developing in ArcGIS based Desktop, Mobile and Server applications using ArcObjects with C# .NET; and GIS Utility Industry experience. Geographic Information System-based (GIS-based) systems, such as ESRI's ArcGIS, are complex systems and require a confident and knowledgeable resource. The resource is expected to understand enough about an ESRI-based GIS system to be aware of what the system is capable of accomplishing. The resource should be experienced with design and development methodologies and technically adept to travel independently to customer sites and work with customers to understand their real-world business requirements and the problems they are trying to solve. Position requires ability to work with a large team of developers to share ideas and accept ideas and constructive inputs from other players on the team.
