*6 months and probably more like a year or more* *Position Summary:* This position will be responsible for designing and developing software programs or substantial sections of programs of moderate/high level of complexity. *Essential Functions and Responsibilities:* · Participate and contribute within design strategy sessions and create design documents as a result of these sessions. · Provide technical advice and guidance to the team and the entire development staff. · Participate in code reviews and provide insight during design reviews. · Follow standard programming practices and provide input into these practices. · Work with Business & Technical Project Managers, Technical Leaders, and other developers to create software specifications for a substantial portion of a project. · Interface with hardware/software vendors and employees within the organization for development purposes. · Continue to grow both personally and professionally by accepting constructive criticism in code reviews and by staying current in new technologies/programming practices. *Required Experience, Skills and Education:* · 4 to 7 years programming experience and a demonstrated proficiency in database (Oracle) development techniques and platforms · Experience working with large-scale databases in Oracle 10g or greater in a client server or mainframe environment. · Extensive PL/SQL experience. · Web application development experience is a plus. · Excellent problem-solving skills. · Good communication and interpersonal skills which facilitate working in a team environment and interfacing with customers. · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. *Thanks and Regards, * *Jaspal* *3290 E.
