We have an urgent need for a Sr. SAS Programmer in Elk Grove,
Illinois. This is a 6 month contract that will be extended. Client require
a face to face interview after the phone interview so please send candidates

Candidates must have prior experience in the credit card industry, SAS
Macros, Base SAS, SAS Mainframe, Unix Shell Scripting and data transfer
techniques.
Title: Sr. SAS Programmer Analyst
Rate: Up to $60 per hour
Duration: 6 month contract with possibility of extension
Location: Elk Grove, Illinois
Requirements:
5-10 years of SAS programming experience
Base SAS 9.1 or greater
SAS Macros
Experience in handling large amounts of data with SAS
Strong working knowledge of Unix and Shell Scripting
Good Mainframe knowledge with SAS Mainframe, extensive data manipulation
experience
Prior experience in the credit card industry
Knowledge of data transfer techniques like NDM
Strong analytical capabilities
Must have the ability to organize multiple data sources and events into a
cohesive result
Ability to adapt to project scope changes
Ability to deliver on aggressive deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
