Us or GC . *Engineer**|**Position Description About Investor Reporting 2 (IR2) Investor Reporting 2 is a medium-scale, high-performance transaction mortgage and loan processing system to support the government’s loan modification program, one of the major workstreams of Homeowners Affordability and Modification Plan (HAMP). About the Team The Production Support and Testing team has three broad functions: 1. Acceptance Test: Responsible for supporting user acceptance test. 2. Production Support: Responsible for supporting the application in production, ensuring operational processes and procedures are followed. 3. Infrastructure: Responsible for identifying and managing the infrastructure needs of the project. Description Provide operational and technical support for**§** Investor Reporting 2 (IR2) production and acceptance systems. Lead efforts**§** for analytics and reporting metrics for IR2 Production system. Provide**§** design, analytical, and implementation support for operational readiness, pre-production testing, other improvements and enhancements. Coordinate,**§** and execute various test efforts, results of tests, and related remediation efforts. Consult with internal and external technology groups to make**§** technical recommendations to bullet-proof the Production environment. **§** Develop recommendations for operational improvements and enhancements. **§** Mentor other junior developers on technical procedures, and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineering staff. Qualifications **§** B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience required. **§** 8+ years of technical experience. Must have both application and**§** enterprise level support experience. Must have strong written, verbal,**§** analytical and organizational skills. Process oriented - capable of**§** creating guidelines, policies and procedures in their area of work. Must**§** be able to clearly articulate technical concepts/issues to both technical and non-technical peers and management. Understanding of Unix, Oracle, and**§** batch oriented system is required.
