The mart is an Oracle Database. Oracle Data Architect - Responsibility · Have 10+ years experience designing / developing Oracle databases, with a focus on data marts · Knowledge of ETL tools and their impact on database design · Ability to understand business requirements and related impact on database design 1. Design detail, aggregated, and reporting schemas and tables for commission-related data 2. Design views to enforce security rules 3. Design schedule for processing files, purging data, running aggregations, etc. · Ability to tune Oracle databases for peak performance · Ability to mentor and coach technical team members in best practices related to Oracle database design and development, per above · Create detailed technical design document to development activities Oracle Data Architect – Role Collaborate with other technology professionals (Solution architects, DBAs, Developers) to design and build a data mart that will serve as the staging area (land, transform, aggregate, and report) for an Incentive Compensation tool implementation.
