A successful candidate will work with our experienced team in a highly goal and team-oriented atmosphere. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing Retail Solutions' web applications for our Demand Signal Management Data Warehouse. Primary Responsibilities * Quality Assurance testing for our in-house/home-grown ETL products * Quality Assurance testing for our in-house/home-grown Web/Reporting Environment * Reviewing and understanding product specifications for new applications or enhancements to existing applications * Create, execute, and maintain repeatable manual test cases for new product features and enhancements. * Work closely with business and development engineering team to help resolve data quality issues and define strategies to improve data quality. * Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of multiple test environments. * Accountable for delivery of code and subsystem, and perform post-deployment verification * Communication with local and remote team members, developers and operations to resolve issues and bugs * Continually evaluating our products from a customer perspective and developing those thoughts into finding bugs, listing action items, and opening avenues of discussion * Document all test artifacts; test plans, test cases, and testing summary * Ability to work with cross functional teams effectively Skills and Experience Required * BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent * 4+ years in Quality Assurance and Application Testing (Internet/Web and Desktop Applications) * 4+ years with Version Control (PVCS, VSS, StarTeam, CVS) and Defect Tracking software (StarTeam, PVCS Tracker) * 2+ years experience in an ETL environment * 2+ years in either Oracle (w/ PL/SQL) or SQL Server (w/ T-SQL). Additional Qualifications: * Experience with OLAP and/or other reporting technologies * Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle assurance methodologies * Supply chain in the consumer productions and retail industry knowledge is a huge plus * Strong attention to detail and excellent test case generation skills * Strong problem solving and decision making skills needed to identify, research, and resolve problems * Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision * Ability to work under continual deadlines and constraints * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * * *Thanks & Regards* * * *Easwar.
