Position : Essbase Developer with SQL Server Experience Location : Secaucus, NJ Type : C2C Duration : Long Term Start Date : Immediate Rate : $45/hr on C2C Job Summary: Ø Post holder performs operational and Tier 3 level supports for production applications in a range of business portfolios. Ø Responsibilities involve the daily management of incidents, operational maintenance and support, development support, and proactive/preventative analysis of systems. Ø Post holder will demonstrate knowledge of key business processes, products and services, within agreed areas of expertise. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Ø Demonstrable knowledge of Windows 2000/2003/2008 server O/S Ø Demonstrable knowledge of Essbase Ø Demonstrable Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of web platforms such as IIS, Websphere, etc Ø General understanding of networking/LAN/WAN/DMZ concepts Ø Ability to read and understand code (Code-competency) for diagnosis, escalation to tier 4 teams Ø Knowledge of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems i.e. remote access tools, Windows Support tools, connectivity tests, etc. Ø In-depth knowledge of Stored Procedures, SSIS and Data Transformation Services Ø Understanding of n-Tier application architecture concepts Ø General knowledge of SQL2000 and In-depth knowledge of SQL2005/2008 Ø Familiarity with SQL DBMS interface and integrated tools Ø Creation of simple queries, running pre-defined scripts, configuration, security, and interpreting logs and traces. Ø Demonstrable knowledge and familiarity with T-SQL Ø General understanding of various IT security concepts as they relate to production environments Desired technical experience & qualifications: Ø In depth knowledge of Essbase 9x or 11, VBA Ø Hyperion Reports (Financial Reporting), Hyperion Analyzer (Web Analysis) Ø Experience with Windows BATCH Scripting Ø In depth knowledge of SQL Server 2005 Ø Experience supporting applications in shared or virtual environments Ø Windows Systems and Exchange Ø Access and Office Ø MS SQL Server Ø Software Engineering Ø Networking, Cisco and PC Support Other Requirements: Requirements of this role: Ø Participate in a shift pattern/on-call rotational providing cover between XXXX hrs and XXXX hrs Ø Travel will be required.
