Job Title : IBM Infosphere / Datastage Tech Lead Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 3-5 years of experience of working in Datastage development projects; overall 5-8 years experience Necessary Skills : * Thorough Knowledge of ETL development using IBM InfoSphere-DataStage * Knowledge of data warehousing architecture and modeling * Strong DataStage technology skills required to provide architecture and design solutions * In-depth knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle with a strong emphasis on the following: Engagement, Analysis, Design, Development and Deployment * Knowledge of network architectures and systems performance consideration * Working level knowledge of software development, systems life cycle methodologies; rapid application development techniques preferred * Proven track record in workflow, application functionality enhancements * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills * Strong leadership skills to manage a team of developers * Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks Desired Skills * integration with SAP system using DataStage. Roles & Responsibilities : * Perform feasibility studies, translating requirements into an appropriate design, identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions. * Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels. * Collect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional projects. * Under the guidance of the manager, collaborate with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. * Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues. * Provide technical consulting support on projects or system issues. * Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
