*Position*     Title:SIEBEL application tester

*Location*:   FL

*Duration*:   6+Months



The functional/testing analyst will work closely with Development Team’s and
rest of the testing team located in Bangalore, India and Ft. Lauderdale,
USA.



*Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:*



·         This position may require on call availability and possible work
over the weekends.

·         Expert in Analyzing, Design, Develop and Execution of test
scripts, test cases, test plans etc for Avaya 7.2 upgrade project and Siebel
CRM enhancements.

·         Create and execute manual / automated test scripts, perform
analysis, prepares reports on test results, execute regression tests, log
defects and assist with UAT.

·         Understands functionality, business processes built in Citrix
Siebel CRM solution.

·         Ensure industry best practices are followed to test the solution
and business requirements are met as per industry best practices.

·         Implement new and modify existing test scripts, plan cases etc as
per the Siebel CRM solution application functionality.

·         Closely work with Siebel / Avaya technical team (located in Fort
Lauderdale and India) to understand the end to end application functionality
and report out any issues with the functionality because of upgrade as per
documented business rules.

·         Follow documented standard operating procedures, topologies, and
test configuration guidelines for Siebel CRM solution.

·         Conducts moderately complex testing, troubleshooting and analysis
tasks on various releases of Siebel CRM solution which includes integration,
system testing, interoperability testing, field test plans and customer
acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system.

·         Good analytical and problem solving skills, Skilled in time,
priority and task management.

·         Adequate Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team
members

·         Excellent presentation and communication skills to present test
results to individuals and groups

·         Active in pursuing learning opportunities

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team



*Required Experience:*

·         6+ years of manual and automated testing and support experience
for a global Siebel CRM solution (required)

·         2+ yeas of testing and support experience for a Avaya CTI solution
(desired)

·         Solid understanding of Siebel CRM / CTI functionality framework.

·         Solid understanding of Rational tools and requisite pro.

·         Working knowledge on requirement & defect tracking tools such as
Rational Performance Tester, ClearQuest, ClearCase etc.

·         Minimum of 4 (three) years experience writing manual test scripts
based on documented requirements

·         Minimum of 4 (three) years experience writing test plans, test
cases.

·         Minimum 2 year of experience in writing and executing automated
scripts, preferably using Rational Performance Tester.

·         Minimum of 3 (three) years experience writing test analysis
reports

·         Solid understanding and working knowledge of System Development
Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise applications.
