Please find the below job description. *Position: “Websphere Portal Developer”*** Location: Jersey City, NJ Type: *Contract (6 months) / Full time* Start Date: Immediate *Description of need:* We seek an energetic, knowledgeable, articulate software developer to participate in the development of mission critical Internet applications in the financial services industry. Candidate will be responsible for enhancing and integrating new and existing web applications into our client facing WebSphere v6.x portal environments. Primary responsibilities will be to develop new front end interface for existing web applications and also to convert J2EE web applications into portal framework. This individual will also help document guidelines and mentor and assist other developers to integrate or migrate their applications to Websphere portal. *Minimum Qualifications :* - Strong understanding of IBM Websphere Portal framework including its security, personalization and roles based portlet access - 2-5 years J2EE development experience building rich internet Portal applications using IBM RAD *v 7.x* - Strong understanding of portlet technologies and* *custom Portlet Development, including development of JSR-168 portlets, external systems integration, and leveraging of native Portal functionality to build composite portlet applications. - Experience with JSF, EJB, Servlets & JSPs - Strong experience in web services development - Strong problem solving and analytical skills; excellent verbal & written communication skills - Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Preferred:* - Experience mobilizing Portal applications* * - Experience with IBM Portlet Factory - Good understanding in IBM Tivoli LDAP and Tivoli Identity Manager - Experience in frameworks such as Spring MVC, Hibernate & JBOSS SEAM - Experience with IBM 's Mobile Portal Accelerator a plus - Experience with integration of IBM 's collaboration suite a plus -- *Thanks & Regards,* Bob Rodger Bartronics America, Inc 485 US Highway 1 South, Bldg.
