Visa:only w2 Desc: 5+ years supporting Microsoft Operating systems and IIS 4+ years experience supporting high-traffic web services, to include capacity analysis, network load balancing, performance tuning, advanced monitoring, and troubleshooting and diagnosing problems. 3+ experience with IBM WebSphere Strong analytical and communication skills Experience with MS SQL Server 2000 and/or greater is a plus Experience with Tomcat and Apache web servers is a plus Experience with Microsoft PowerShell or other scripting languages is a plus Experience with VMware virtualization is a plus Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. This is a critical replacement position for a senior web and application administrator to manage and support several applications that rely upon various web services platforms such as Microsoft IIS, Tomcat, and IBM WebSphere. This position will establish a role for a senior technical resource in the architectural design, administration, monitoring and tuning of web services at an enterprise level. Candidate must have experience with the following: Microsoft Server 2000/2003 and IIS IBM WebSphere Supporting server operating systems and applications, to include Microsoft SQL Server and PEGA PRPC. Experience supporting high-traffic web services, to include capacity analysis, network load balancing, performance tuning, advanced monitoring, and troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
