Application Environment Support Analyst drives the design and creation of
pre-production environments based on project platform and application
needs. The selected candidate must ensure that system deployment work
efforts are prioritized, scheduled, and delivered based on set
expectations. This individual collaborates as part of the overall AEM team
or as a single resource on project teams in the scheduling and building of
environments, as well as transitioning to proper support teams. This
individual ensures that pre-production environments are built and configured
to match the specifications documented in project plans. The AEM Analyst
also collaborates with IS security, storage, virtualization, network,
database, and application teams to ensure that all policies are followed and
plans fully communicated.
· Minimum 3 years of experience supporting IT system environments
within a professional setting
· Strong technical proficiency with IBM AIX/WAS platforms.
· Technical proficiency with Tivoli TSM and WebSphere Commerce.
· Demonstrated ability to perform systems analysis on high availability
pre-production environments within an enterprise setting
· Firm understanding of virtual environment management (PowerVM)
concepts and how it fits into the overall SDLC
· Experience with fundamental network services such as DNS, DHCP, IRAS
· Experience with system resource and performance monitoring tools.
· Experience in analyzing system performance data for performance
characteristics
· Ability to collaborate with architecture, database, and application
teams regarding all pre-production environments.
· General knowledge of performance and functional testing environments.
· Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to work with people at
all management levels.
· Experience interacting with DB2 queries, updates, etc. a plus
· Experience with scripting frameworks and languages such as Korn and
Bash a plus.
· Strong technical experience related to database and order management
platforms a plus.
· ITIL and/or other IBM hardware certifications a definite plus.
*Build Engineer - AIX (1 Position) – *
a. AIX / Unix scripting expert
iii. Should know KORN and BASH

Build Engineer will be responsible to develop and implement complex software
build solutions in AIX/ JAVA platform. This individual collaborates with
project teams in the scheduling and building of software. In addition, this
engineer ensures that packaged code is available at all stages of the
project, employs the most efficient processes to deploy applications, and
configured to match needs at each appropriate stage of the SDLC.
- Minimum 3 years of build/packaging function experience within a
professional setting
· Should have excellent communication skills and collaboration
skills
· Strong technical proficiency with IBM AIX/WAS platforms
· Technical proficiency with Tivoli (TSAM, TPM) and WebSphere
Commerce
- Proven experience developing software build plans and strategies
- Demonstrable experience administering, maintaining, and deploying a
build system and technologies for continuous integration
- Experience with multi-platform scripting frameworks and languages such
as Korn and Bash is a plus
- Experience with fundamental network services such as DNS, DHCP, IRAS
- Experience interacting with SQL and/or DB2 queries, updates, etc. a
plus.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to work with people at all
management levels.
*Build Automation Engineer - AIX (1 Position) –*Build Automation Engineer
will be responsible to develop build solutions and automate environment
deployment processes in AIX/ WAS/ JAVA environment. This individual seeks
inputs from the Build Engineer and automates the build and deployment
process.
- Minimum 3 years of automation experience in build and environment
deployment
- Should had strong experience with scripting frameworks and languages
such as Korn and Bash
· Should have excellent communication skills and collaboration
skills
· Strong technical proficiency with IBM AIX/WAS platforms
