*· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) *
· Bachelor's degree (Computer Science Discipline preferred) or
equivalent work experience
· Expertise in configuring *Cisco IOS* and general administration
of Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls
· Experienced in both LAN and WAN implementations, including MPLS
· Experience implementing proactive monitoring and trending
· Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF
· Excellent understanding of TCP/IP Network Administration
Highly Desired Qualifications
· *Experience with VoIP systems*
· Experience setting up QoS for voice/video
· Experience in *Unix / Linux* systems administration in an
enterprise environment
· Experience managing complex technical projects
· Ability to script in *shell, perl, and/or other platforms*
· Solid understanding of network services such as DNS, LDAP, Active
Directory, HTTP, IPSEC
· Experience working with hardware and telecom vendors, both
procurement and problem resolution
· Proven ability to work cooperatively within a team and to share
knowledge effectively
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

· Provisioning, installation, and troubleshooting of critical
WAN/LAN networks
· Creation and continual improvement of operational processes
· Contribute systems documentation and maintain operational run
book
· Create tools and process automation
· Fault detection and resolution, configuration management, change
management and performance management
· Participation in on call rotation
