TIBCO Specialist
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical related field or related certification
required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in IT solutions development preferably in medium to
large corporate environments.
2+ years current experience where TIBCO Business Works toolset, and TIBCO
EMS was a focus.
Experience in logistics and/or transportation management and business
analysis is a plus as well as TIBCO Business Events knowledge.
Broad range of network and desktop knowledge, including experience with
TIBCO adapters, JMS, Mainframe environment, Web Services, Java, Oracle
Database, PL/SQL, SQL Server, XML, FTP, DB2, relational database design, and
Microsoft Office Suite.
Well developed written and verbal communication skills in customer settings
and with internal management.
Well developed active listening, facilitation and presentation skills.
Knowledge of basic business/accounting principles and transportation
management.
Solid knowledge of IT software development life cycle methodologies and
processes.
Basic project management skills.
Well developed time management and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated analytical capabilities including complex technical problem
solving.
Exposure to managing customer expectations.
Ability to learn and understand functionality of multiple logistics-related
systems.
Ability to establish solid business relationships and work effectively with
senior business and client contacts.
Ability to work and participate effectively in a dynamic self directed team
environment.
Ability to mentor and guide others in the use of integration tools.
Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to communicate
and simplify complex technical information for non-technical people.
