This person is responsible for managing the delivery of quality software, reporting to the Technical Lead and partnering with both the business sponsor and the functional teams. Responsibilities - Creates an excellent working and relationship with the Development and the Product Leads. - Build framework for new product lines and enhance existing automation software test coverage. - Develop design documents; work closely with developers to define automation strategies for new products. - Develop new automation code and enhance existing automation frameworks to increase product test coverage across multiple products and platforms. - Manage integration testing efforts. - Maintain responsibility for gathering and collating data to report on the testing status. - Able to contribute, when needed, to the overall testing effort in writing, executing and analyze results. Qualifications - Proven ability to have been part of automation efforts and design and develop test automation for new products for Equity Trading domain. - The ideal candidate has had 7+ years of experience working in quality automation. - Knowledge of Perl/Python is must. - Experience in developing, automation of Test plans, Test cases. - Expertise in software delivery processes Agile, RAD, etc. - Understanding of product development lifecycle and iterative development methods with a commitment to quality and excellence. - Proficiency with automated testing. - Evidential experience testing high availability, 24x7 trading environments. - Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
