A typical QA Test Lead has a Bachelor degree in computer engineering or computer science with experience in leading and executing testing. Education/Experience o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required **o 8-10 years experience required** Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) o Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) o Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. (Required) o Strong knowledge of computer development software and packaged software solutions including Oracle CRM application portfolio including Siebel o Strong knowledge of testing methodology and management of all aspects of testing including regression, functional and performance testing Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures o Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability o Review documentation of software defects and work with development team for assignment and closure o Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates o Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems o Manage QA team throughout planning and execution. Provide leadership across the QA effort and coordinate with other project leads including deployment, development, and project management to provide states, coordinate activities, and escalate issues as needed. o Provide support and manage QA team through deployment weekend and necessary shakeouts o Manage QA timeline, deliverables, and execution throughout the lifecycle of the project ==== Top Requirements: 1.
