*Title: OBIEE Consultant *
*Client: Dell*
*Location: Richmond Virginia*
*Rate: 6-12 Months*
The Key on this one is they are looking for a back office position but will
only consider people with actual programming experience in OBIEE.
*Owens & Minor OBIEE Team Resource Requirements:*
1. Resource 1 – On Shore – OBIEE Technical (Back Office)
a. Required skills (*3 – 5 years experience as Technical DAC /
Powercenter Primary Resource*)
i.
Experienced
in implementing and supporting an *Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise
Edition (OBIEE) / Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics (OBIA)* Data
Warehouse for *Human Resource*s and *Finance* (*GL*) in the role of
technical developer.
ii. Possess
knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Analytics 7.9.5 or 7.9.6 / OBIEE
10.1. Have an understanding of the entire OBIEE application stack.
iii. Experienced
in and possess a strong knowledge of the *DAC* and *Powercenter* as related
to OBIEE environments.
iv. Able to
function and provide on-call support of *OBIEE DAC / ETL data loads*.
v. Key
skill in determining, developing and documenting validation plans. This
requirement is for data as well as reports.
vi. Possess
an overall ability to communicate and document clearly requirements, process
flows and development specifications. Able to work within a structured
project design and development methodology.
vii. Possess
the ability to implement OBIEE security as well as develop custom OBIEE
security.
viii. Possess
the ability to take business requirements and turn to technical
implementation of domain of values.
ix. Able to
work with Oracle support in troubleshooting issues with OBIEE data and
functionality.
x.
Experienced
and possess a firm understanding of Oracle databases / data access / SQL.
*b. **Desired skills*
i. Possess
an understanding of working with the *OBIEE* *analytics* ‘out of the box’
reports.
ii. Possess
an understanding of *OBIEE* *report* and *dashboard* *creation* and have the
ability to work with custom enterprise reports and dashboards.
iii. Possess
an understanding of the *OBIEE* *repository* to develop and maintain.
iv. Possess
an understanding of business users reporting requirements and
report/dashboard usage. Be able to backup the OBIEE business developer
primary resource.
