*Location:* Wakefield, MA *Rate:* DOE *Must be local to come in for F2F interview*!! *Sr. SQL Server Database Administrator* * Marketing Technology** *Responsibilities:* * Work with development teams to design and implement marketing database solutions. * Proactively perform database optimization, administration and maintenance (partitioning tables, partitioning indexes, indexing, normalization, synchronization, job monitoring, etc). * Work with internal IT operations teams to troubleshoot network and server issues and to optimize the database environment. * Monitor database server capacity and performance and make infrastructure and architecture recommendations to management. * Establish and enforce database change management standards including promotions from development to production. * Responsible for installation, configuration, customization, maintenance and performance tuning of associated server based products including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS. * Develop, implement and verify database backup and disaster recovery strategies. * Provide development and production support to troubleshoot day-to-day database or related application issues. * Develop processes for system monitoring, storage management, backup and recovery. * Maintain physical database models inherent to client specific instances. *Required Skills/Background* * 5+ years of experience as a MS SQL Server Database Administrator managing SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 databases * 3+ years of experience managing tools in the MS Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) * Strong skills in optimization, database sizing, capacity planning, back up, recovery, and automation of database related processes and alerts * Expert knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures and triggers * Experience with data warehousing, data integration, data import and relational data modeling * Knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 * Excellent analytic and problem solving skills * Deadline focused, detail oriented, well organized and self motivated * Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently * Self-starter and eager to learn * BA or BS degree and/or equivalent experience required Please fill in the following details: Complete Name: ** Current Location: Best Number: E-Mail: Visa Status (work status): Rate/hr: Availability: *Maaz I Roohullah* Next Level Business Services, Inc.
