Project Description The purpose this project is to manage the implementation of the IT components of the LSC Business project to upgrade the capacity of the Lube Oil Blending Plant in Houston, Texas, USA. Project will be vendor managed with oversight by Business Project Manager and IT Project Manager to be assigned. The project scope includes: . Automated Blending Control System . Automated Pigging Control System . ABB Control System Software and Licenses . Configuration & Development Services . On-site installation and testing . Start-up Commissioning and Training . Development of BCP and DRP plan . Transition to Support IT Project Manger to insure system is installed with appropriate system back up capabilities and redundancy. User acceptance criteria and end user testing Roles and Responsibilities: For process control system (PCS) implementation: develop PCS implementation detail plans and manage vendor delivery to schedule, requirements. Prompt corrective action upon schedule deviation. Ensure test and simulation plans are robust, and acceptance criteria clear, agreed. Test plans must trace back to requirements. Ensure PCS training plans are complete, communicated, prerequisites in place. In addition, manage scope, risks, budget, and issue ongoing status. Technical Skills and Experience: - Prior experience with Process Control Systems is desired. - Familiarity with lubricants plant operations is beneficial.
