Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications
for software enhancements and new products.
Requirements: -
5 to 8 years of PC-based (NOT server side) programming experience
- 2 to 3 years professional experience developing and debugging Visual C#
for Windows Forms applications
- Experience developing for Windows XP through Windows 7
- Familiarity with XML
- Able to create concise and accurate technical comments and documentation
describing algorithms used, data structures created, etc.

Sr. Software Engineer
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop and maintain middleware
application software and WPF user interfaces on Windows XP, XPe, and Windows
7 platforms that interface with a SQL database and digital image processing
algorithm software.
This middleware software engineer will be responsible for system control,
functionality, and interface from/to GUI, I/O (devices), internet sites, and
databases, for example.
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and reviewing
functional specifications, managing requirements to objective test results,
and perform unit and sub-system tests, troubleshoot and implement bug fixes
Requirements:
BSCS or BSEE with minimum 5 years recent experience programming in Windows
XP, using the C#/.NET toolset.
C++ can suffice if equivalent C# knowledge (e.g. Java-like) is demonstrable.
Demonstrated working knowledge of WPF.
Windows Forms can suffice if candidate demonstrates only book knowledge of
WPF.
Experience must include a minimum of 3 years in medical device industry or
equivalent industry, Aerospace, Defense, or CMM.
Working knowledge of a structured software development process Working
knowledge of C/C++/C# and .NET interfaces and tools.
Extensive Software development experience on Windows platform Excellent
written and verbal communications
Preferred Additional Skills
Working knowledge of communication protocols and networking technologies
TCP/IP sockets interfaces Writing device drivers, Analog and digital I/O
experience
Experience with Computer Graphics Knowledge in DICOM, PACS, Active-X, XML,
HTML
Experience with embedded systems Working knowledge of XP, XPe, and Windows 7
based DirectShow is a definite plus.
