Banking / financial experience required
Position: Oracle Developer
Duration: Long Term Contract
Location: Stamford, CT
Detailed knowledge and at least 7+ years experience of working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience with large data warehouses, analytical functions, Oracle partitioning, referential integrity concepts/implementations
  • Strong background in PL/SQL and SQL tuning with Oracle.
  • Good understanding of operating systems like UNIX, Linux and Windows NT/XP platforms.
  • Detailed knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting technologies like Business Objects would be an added bonus but not mandatory.  Experience of contributing to the implementation of large-scale change projects in major organizations.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full application development life cycle experience
  • Strong financial industry experience is required!
  • Is self-tasking; able to generate tasks without day-to-day supervision or guidance
