Role: Security Architect
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Charlotte NC
Description:
Please note TIM/TAM experience is also required.

o Written and verbal communication skills
Enterprise Architect Skills:
o Knowledge of all components of an EA
o Knowledge of graphical modeling approaches
o Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements and designs
o Ability to identify relevant trends and emerging technologies,
forecast their impact and utility, and act accordingly
o Ability to estimate and communicate the impact of EA alternatives -
both financial and nonfinancial
o Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and find workable solutions;
good conceptual thinking skills
o Innovative, enterprising, far-sighted
Security Development Skills:
Ability to define the overall security architecture for the enterprise
solution
Ability to design solution that meets all regulations for data and
processing systems as mandated by Premier, state and local agencies
Ability to define procedures that all development teams will need to
follow to ensure that the resultant code meets the nonfunctional requirements
Ability to ensure all overarching architecture strategies and
approaches follow the Security Architecture
Ability to perform initial compliance and assessments (HIPAA, SOX,
etc.) at design time and later at implementation review
Ability to provide guidance to development teams for developing secure
code
Have a solid understanding of application architectures
Proficiency with security architect policies and best practices
Solid understanding of infrastructure related security features and
capabilities (e.g. firewalls, routers)
Proficiency with the application of WS-Security
Familiarity with application of certificates and tokens including SAML
Knowledge of JAAS, LDAP, and securing J2EE and web applications.
Ability to develop the overall trust model for all roles within the
solution.
Application Development Skills:
o Advanced knowledge in designing large web applications
o Advanced knowledge in object oriented design patterns
o Advanced knowledge in Service Oriented Architectures
o Advanced knowledge in open source frameworks
o Advance knowledge in designing web services
o Strong knowledge of SQL
o Proficiency and understanding of open source software concepts and
practices as well as when to consider and apply commercial proprietary
technologies
