Experience on enterprise level data warehouse/business intelligence projects, including end-to-end experience on 2 or more enterprise data warehouse projects, preferably with at least one that included a substantial operational data store.

Data Warehousing data population and data modeling techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models
|
|

|
GUI based ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar tools.

|
Implementation experience with enterprise class databases e.g. Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc or similar technologies.

|
Implementation experience with analytical and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar tools.

Experience with data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, Structured Query Language (SQL), end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning.

Experience with designing a Master Data Management strategy and experience with evaluation, selection, and implementation of MDM solutions.

Excellent skills in preparing technical documentation, including systems requirements and technical specifications.

Excellent skills in requirements analysis, data assessment, business process reengineering, and familiarity with data warehousing design concepts such as third normal form and dimensional modeling.

Ability to develop complex logical data models, data architecture standards, & support compliance to policies and procedures including data structures & data elements naming standards.

Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills.

Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Knowledge of HIPAA, HL7, and MITA requirements/standards desirable.

|
Experience with the development of standards for and implementation of data governance, including development of processes and policies for change management of source system data, data definitions development, data standards development, and identification of systems of record and order of precedence.

Experience with establishing technical requirements for all aspects within a statement of work, request for offer, request for information or request for proposal for the implementation phase of an enterprise level data warehouse.

Strong
|
Experience with oversight and validation of recommendations and deliverables from vendors as part of the concept, planning, design, and implementation phases. Experience selecting vendors through competitive procurement processes. Experience writing solicitation documents.
