Remote working not allowed. Start date - any time in Jan 2011. Skills - As a System Engineer and Architect in a Core Network application in Telecom domain, candidate will be responsible in architecting optimal solutions in cutting edge technologies and business services in a process-intensive environment. Candidate will also be contributing to business case reviews, lab documentation and assist resolve any issues/defects identified. Candidate will also be responsible towards creating technical proposals on a need basis on identified projects. The applicants must satisfy the following criteria: · Must be extremely proficient in overall Telecom domain knowledge (scale of 8.5 or above on 10) · Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with architecting complex telecom applications on Layer 2 and Layer 3 * Layer 2 - Datalink Layer: Example: FR/ATM, Ethernet * Layer 3 - Network Layer: Example: IPV4, IPV6, IGMP * Overall telecom experience greater than 10 years preferred. Exceptional cases with 8 years or more will be considered. * Should be up to date on recent technical advancements in Telecom - especially Ethernet, VoIP, VPN, LTE, IPV6 Migrations areas * Should be well verse with configurations of routers, switches and network management.
