Position: SEO/Ecommerce Consultant
Location: SFO, CA -----Prefer Locals--------- Duration: 6 months Contract PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform on-page optimization for Client. Support HTML/Site Optimization opportunities and other ongoing projects as necessary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: On-page optimization: . Perform keyword research for each webpage using third-party tools to select target keywords based on relevance, search volume and business priority . Review current on-page optimizations and refresh as necessary based on performance of targeted keywords. . Develop title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, etc. for each page . Work with Brand eCommerce website teams and tools to implement recommendations into site builds HTML/Site Optimization . Identify areas of opportunity for improved on-site use of HTML/JavaScript for SEO benefit . Work closely with IT and brand partners to support new site initiatives . Support new and existing projects related to widget creation, content syndication, and digital asset optimization . Support miscellaneous projects, reporting and analyses SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: . BS/BA . 1-2 years minimum experience with SEO & eCommerce sites . Strong background and experience with HTML & JavaScript . Strong familiarity with Google and other third-party keyword research and SEO tools . Strong analytical ability and familiarity with Excel . Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment . Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented . Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
