The selected candidates’ primary purpose will be to install and troubleshoot DOT LAN cabling infrastructure. Responsibilities will include: • Physical installation and testing of LAN cabling and infrastructure, lightweight construction and installation and basic troubleshooting of LAN equipment. • Interacting with employees at all levels in all DOH, DMV, and other DOT offices across the State as needed to support network solutions. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:* *REQUIRED: Advanced experience with physical LAN cabling (copper and fiber) installation, termination and testing Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules Excellent organizational and English communication skills both written and oral Excellent customer service and teamwork skills Willingness to work overtime as needed Willingness to accommodate regular regional travel, and occasional overnight travel. PREFERRED: Experience with Avaya (Nortel) LAN switching products.
