*6 Months Contract to Hire* * * *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* A. Design, develop and document Java applications and related web development technologies B. Operate within Linux environment, and must be able to traverse file system to manage files, update cron jobs, deploy WAR and JAR files, update file permissions and develop and execute scripts C. Knowledge of source control (Subversion) and software development lifecycle tools (JIRA) is required D. Apply creative, open-minded solutions architecture using the J2SE stack E. Integrate and extend SQL-Server applications for our ecommerce and corporate IT departments F. Investigate and recommend to management new web related ecommerce technologies G. Investigate and build integrations between disparate applications using SOAP and REST H. Work with Ecommerce team to install, configure, and integrate Ecommerce technologies to drive Team Express web development interests I. Work with Vendors on key partner and affiliate interfaces and reporting J. Work within and help improve the Team Express Agile Development methodology and supporting technologies K. Provide regular status reports to IT leadership L. Build and implement monitors to gauge web traffic and overall performance M.
