This version of NovellexteND is no longer supported by Novell. This situation has required the client to maintain webRTS/webIPS on older, back-level versions of Sun/OS, Oracle and Java. Security evaluations of the existing applications have determined potential security risks. The production applications currently reside at temporary locations. The client desires to move the applications to a different Enterprise Computing Center. In order for the client to move the applications, the applications must be re-architected to be compliant with the current Enterprise Architecture (EA), Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC). Duties: The Test Consultant gathers system level requirements and facts (through primary and secondary research, structured and unstructured interviews, surveys, etc.) in support of specific engagements, typically one engagement at a time. Participates in joint application design (JAD) sessions with the customer, The Test Consultant is responsible for the analyzing the customer requirements, test design, and test analysis (customer, financial, operational) and presentation of data. He/She is expected to create original work products. The Test Consultant develops leadership skills through ownership of specific tasks or projects within an engagement. The Test Consultant establishes relationships within client organizations and delivers timely, high quality service to the client. He/She will participate actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges. The Test Consultant is responsible for the successful execution, completion of the Application Quality Testing (AQT) effort for the Project. Regarding System Acceptance Test, the Senior Test Consultant would also serve as a focal point for providing support to the client with the successful execution/completion of the System Acceptance Testing effort thereby leading to the installation of the final build in Production by the agreed upon ‘Go Live’ date. Specifically, the Test Consultant will: - Perform complex application functional testing that is likely to involve compressed time frames, new products in different environments, and complex business / technical requirements - Consult with customers and stakeholders to define needs and sizings; Design, develop and implement test scripts, procedures and test cases - Develops and deliver all required technical solution documentation in accordance with the client Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC) methodology - Assist with the development of the Test Strategy, Plan and Procedures - Performs operations and maintenance activities on the existing system and support interfaces and 3rd party tools used in the environments, as directed by the Project Manager - Track defects as they occur; Perform defect resolution testing based on the needs of the Project - Present Test Reviews and periodic test status reporting to Program Management Technical Skills: • Experience with, and full understanding of structured software life cycle development (CMMI Level 3 experience a plus) • Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented development languages and client/server environments • Experience with automated test tools required (Rational Test Manager, Mercury Interactive WinRunner - a plus) • Experience with 508 Compliance Testing (applications for visually and hearing impaired) and Test Tools (AccVerify; JAWS) • Experience with in system acceptance testing of large scale, real-time data processing systems in Government environments • Experience with configuration management tools and defect tracking systems (Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest a plus) • Experience with web development projects (WebSphere Studio, Eclipse, Java, XML), Computing Platforms (Windows 2000, UNIX, IBM Mainframe), RDBMS (Oracle 9i), Middleware (Websphere 4/5, MQ Series) and Support Tools (Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, Visio for graphics, Project, Rational Suite Development Studio – Rose, RequisitePro, ClearCase, ClearQuest for requirements tracking, change management & data modeling) • Some project management skills such as Test Case Management, Requirements Traceability, Project Scheduling and Status Reporting • MS Project • Rational Suite (e.g. ClearCase, ClearQuest) Thanks & Regards *Karuna* Resource Executive* **Net2Source Consulting Ltd.* *Phone:201.884.7791* Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> US | Europe |ME | APAC |India *P* * Please don't print this e-mail unless you really need to do.* *[image: Description: Description: Description: logo]* Under Bill s.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S. Congress this mail cannot be considered Spam as long as we include contact information and a remove link for removal from our mailing list.
