Rate: $45-50 Process; Telecon followed by F2F Will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests and test automation tools, primarily in Java. The routine tasks will also include working with internal customers on requirements for automated tests/tools, providing project delivery timelines, creating documentation, and maintaining existing automated tests and tools. Occasionally, the Automation Analyst may need to assist with automated test execution. Required Skills/Experience: . Development: o 5+ years of software development experience, strong ability and experience in Java programming o Expertise in SQL (for Oracle), and Shell scripting, familiarity with XML, experience working on Linux platform, knowledge of middleware interfaces . Automation: o Ability to design, implement, and expand scalable test automation solutions independently and in a timely manner. o Experience with at least one test automation platform (preferably Selenium or other Java based platform), experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks (for both GUI and non-GUI interfaces). . QA: Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, experience testing web-based applications. . Other: Strong communication skills and the ability to work with others with varying levels of technical understanding. Ability to master new concepts quickly.
