*Documentum Developer* - Application Support N. *NJ 6 Month* Contract

Our client, a Global Publishing giant, is looking for an experienced
Documentum Developer – Support Analyst to work in its Higher Education
Content Management Systems group.  Primary responsibilities will be to
reify, triage and resolve support tickets.  This is an initial six months
contract in a mature group that has a history of renewing contracts many
times.

*Highly Desired:*

Experience with common open source technology such as Spring, Hibernate,
Tomcat/Jboss

familiarity with CVS/Subversion

Academic Web publishing experience

 J2EE

Exposure to GWT, Adobe Flex, Google Gears, and DFS experience advantageous

Database experience with Oracle, MySQL

*Responsibilities:*

Verify & triage support tickets

Gather issue information from users, analyze server logs

Identify problem components

Handle small one time support requests

Write scripts to generate custom reports

Write custom Java - DFC applications to read/update content or metadata

Update/configure MTS, DAM, Groups & roles, ACLs (Access Control List)

*Technology & Experience Required: *

3 + years of hands-on Documentum-based application support

2 + years hands-on Documentum 6.x, Java, WDK, DFC, XML Programming

Strong experience in Java/Unix environments

Good understanding of Documentum content management system

Deep knowledge of XML/Schema

XML Processing in Java

*Experience Debugging issues involving:*

Documentum Content Server

DAM (Digital Asset Manager)

Java Method Server

Index Server

Linux and Oracle

UCF (Universal Communication Files)

DFS (Documentum Foundation Services)

*Knowledge of: *

 XML Content

DTD (Document Type Definition),

Namespaces and validations

DFC (Documentum Foundation Classes)

WDK (Web Development Kit)

DFS

ability to create custom WDK components, standalone DFC  & XML applications
