Requirements:
o Must have world class skills and knowledge of TIBCO software with minimum
of 5 years of recent hands on software development with TIBCO platform
products
o Must be process and team oriented.
o Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o BS or BA degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Software Expertise:
o Good technical background with experience in system delivery, which
includes the functional and technical design, build, and test phases
(Software Development Life-Cycle - SDLC).
o Ability to describe how to build technical designs from functional
designs.
o Deep knowledge of IT solution planning and management.
o Understanding of integration capabilities.
o Expert in data models and an understanding of relational databases.
o Experience with TIBCO middleware technologies (BusinessWorks,
BusinessConnect, EDI-X12 (in conjunction with BusinessConnect),EMS, ADB,
Workflow (Inconcert, BusinessWorks Collaborator), HAWK and additional
adapters)
o A minimum of 3 years experience with BusinessConnect
o BusinessConnect 5.x with EDI-X12 experience (Transactions highly
preferred, 850, 855, 856, 810). Must be experienced in following:
a. development in BusinessWorks to connect to BC
b. configuration of Trading Partner in BC
c. configuration of BC (deployment, DMZ is nice to have)
d. Transports: FTP, AS2/HTTP(S), (EDI-GATEWAY is a nice to have)
e. Architecture of BC
f. Prod support experience
o Experience with XML concepts, frameworks, and standards.
o Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and
enterprise application integration.
o Experience with TIBCO Architecture and infrastructure
o Experience in Unix and Linux environment, perl script, linux scripts
o Experience with WebLogic platform, J2EE, and Java development a plus
Description of Duties
Development Responsibilities:
o Evaluate design alternatives.
o Present and build consensus for designs among stakeholders.
o Design, build, and test integration components and interfaces that meet
the functional and technical design specifications using standards and
established methodology.
o Create, execute, and document test scripts necessary to ensure that an
application or technical environment meets performance requirements
(technical, functional, and user interface).
o Provide consulting for application teams based on leads instructions.
o Configure and tailor middleware and adapters.
o Build and maintain qualification standards.
o Monitor and tune business and technical performance.
o Possess strong knowledge of the technical and functional business
requirements.

Operational Responsibilities:
o Develop, deploy, refine, and maintain support processes.
o Monitor 24x7 routine break / fix.
o Perform capacity planning.
o Assist in designing and deploying failover plan for systems / networks.
o Support hardware and software.
o Provide definition for application backup / storage / recovery.
o Maintain and repair integration components to keep them performing in
accordance with technical and functional specifications.
Governance and Sponsorship Responsibilities
o Assist in definition, design, and management of architecture and its
components and infrastructure and its components.
o Assist in definition, approval, and establishment of enterprise
application integration.
o Assist in definition of application integration approaches and models.
o Standardize common business objects, modes of data exchange, naming
conventions, coding standards, and specification documents across the
enterprise.
o Assist in sharing / access policy with business liaisons and application
owners.
o Perform impact assessments for change requests across the enterprise.
o Recommend and negotiate solutions to change requests.
o Promote integration architecture vision to gather support IT and
business-wide.
o Create visibility of integration capability.
