Java (Back End) Software Developer
Candidate will work on team of developers to support major brokerage
clients.
Required Skills
. Programmer with minimum Java, Unix shell scripts
and PL/SQL programming
. Experience with Weblogic, Oracle and UNIX is a
plus.
. Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot
existing code and make modifications to remedy
issues.
. Must be able to review business/functional
requirements, and provide detailed design
specifications and estimates of work required.
. Ability to translate project design into code,
working within an existing Java framework
. Must meet tight deadlines and work on several
projects simultaneously
. Must be able to work within a team environment
as well as work independently on projects.
. Excellent oral/written communication and problem-
solving skills.
. Will consider other J2EE and SQL server
experience for the right candidate.
. A background in financial/brokerage industry is
a plus.
