Develop reports and ad hoc queries in Cognos v8.x and ReportNet. . Establish and maintain Cognos catalogs, packages and cubes. . Develop Multidimensional cubes using PowerPlay. . Install new user accounts and clients for Cognos and administer Cognos security. . Install or upgrade Cognos software as required. Develop and support new packages and reports. Develop reports for various applications based on report specifications. Assist in the knowledge gathering and implementation of new technologies. . Train end users. . Document all work. . Update supervisor regularly on progress. Qualifications: . Self-motivated professional with strong business and communication skills. . Modeling experience including dimensional and normalized modeling. . Experience in Cognos Access Manager and Cognos v8.x security. . Experience with Cognos ReportNet, Cognos PowerPlay, Analysis Studio, Cognos v8.x.0 . Framework manager modeling experience. . Experience with Oracle 9i-11g, SQL Server, and Sybase Databases. . Proficient in the SQL programming language. . Working knowledge of the following Operating Systems; Windows 2000/2003, Linux, and Unix. Additional Qualifications: .
