ROLE SUMMARY:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Providing web infrastructure support.
• Gathering and analyzing project requirements
• Identifying, estimating and tracking deliverables
• Preparation of and deploying BEA Weblogic and Windows Applications
• Trouble shooting problems (such as environment, hardware, software,
performance, etc.)
• Creating and maintaining documentation in support of infrastructure
• Maintaining and analyzing development server performance
• Coordinating and scheduling environment upgrades
• Building and managing working relationships with external vendors
• Team Technical lead on medium to large scale projects
• System capacity planning and maintenance is a key aspect of this role.
• Proactive maintenance.
• Well organized, self-motivated as well as a team player.
• Ability to provide technical guidance to junior team members.
*COMPETENCIES:*
* 6+ years in IT industry experience
* Experience with BEA Weblogic (at least 3 years using v8.x or 9.x1 and
minimum 2 months using v10.x)
* 1-3 years of IIS experience
* 1 -3 years Apache/Tomcat/ColdFusion experience
* 1-3 years SiteMinder/Sitescope working experience is an asset
* Minimum of 3 years of e-commerce web development experience using
Java/J2EE/.NET
* Excellent UNIX (AIX preferred) experience
* Excellent Windows Server 2000 and 2003 admin experience
* Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to ask probing questions
to understand the various concepts presented/discussed
* Excellent communication skills.

*Location: Reston, VA*
*Start Date: ASAP*
*Length of Assignment: 5+ Months*
*Role Description: *
· Define and capture the current service deployment and build
processes, future requirements and use cases for the target Container
Management and Build and Package processes.
· Use the requirements to determine the future of deployment
process, covering the implications for developers, shared services, and
administrators/management.
· Validate the future state design with services build and
deployment stakeholders (especially shared services) to ensure the design
satisfies the requirements.
· Work with stakeholders and developers to implement the new
Container Management services deployment and Build and Package processes.
*Required Skills: *
· Solid understanding of SOA, process analysis and deployment design
· Comfortable with future state process designs
· Deep experience with WebLogic10 and comfortable with Unix
scripting
· Solid admin and deployment skills with these technologies
