The job also involves day to day support of existing DB2 environment which runs major applications like payroll, new hire and at your service online. *Skills Required * · 7+ years of experience with DB2 administration on z/OS with large scale production databases in a high availability environment. · Experience in DB2 data migration and in upgrading DB2 (Ver 8 to 9) · Demonstrated thorough knowledge of DB2 on z/OS including architecture, configuration, settings, catalog and utilities. · Experience in implementing DB2 z/OS backup and recovery strategies. · Experience with formulating estimates of time required for assignments and developing project plans · Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team. · 24x7 production support (on call rotation).
