Procure to Pay (P2P) Release Manager(Oracle Financials )
Tampa - Florida
Duration : 10+Months
Scope:
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) is a global Oracle Financials project that is
currently being rolled out to additional countries.
The Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Release Manager is responsible for managing the P2P
Releases, Country Deployments and Minor Releases (1 per month) and
additional Release Management projects / capacity plans.
This position coordinates team members globally, facilitates status calls,
and manages the implementation life cycles of Development, IST, UAT, and the
Production Build.
The position also guides the project team using the Solution Deployment
Approach (SDA) methodology and a document tracking system (DARTS).
Additionally, the Release Manager provides additional support to the Release
Management Team by assigning work, creating management presentations,
executive status reporting, capacity / time reporting models and applicable
metrics.
Responsibilities:
• Apply project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills,
and project management tools and techniques to facilitate the Project /
Release Management of medium to large Oracle P2P (Financials and
Procurement)
Implementation projects that are the coordinated activities of more than
one functional and/or technical group.
• Plan, lead, and facilitate regular Release Management meetings with
agendas, weekly status reporting with issue and risk identification and
mitigation.
• Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment and short and
long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and
team members.
• Clear and effective communication style required, with strong
leadership, motivation and administration skills.
• This person should have the ability to multi-task and support multiple
projects simultaneously and posses issue escalation capabilities.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years project lead experience and more than 3 medium/large projects
• Knowledge of project implementation methodologies
• Knowledge of project tools: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project,
Visio, Outlook
• Familiarity with Oracle Procurement and Payables Modules,
implementation methods and project lifecycle phases
• Familiarity with managing application / technology related projects
with strict deadlines and budget
• Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with a virtual global team
• Ability to lead meetings, motivate a team, coordinate resources
effectively
