Please send Resumes to* [email protected] * *Title: WebLogic Administrator* Duration: 6 Months Location: Los Gatos, CA *Administration: * • Maintains a stable platform by proactively resolving any issues or bugs. • Installs new software, upgrades and patches across all instances. • Creates and maintains dev, test, production and standby environments as well as failover processes. • Administers proper redundancy and backups to ensure recoverability *Automation: * • Automates routine tasks • Introduces creative ways of performing tasks based on generic scripts • Be a strong advocate of working smart rather than working hard • Should be proficient with standard tools to get work done faster, example, proficiency with shell scripting, PERL, SED, AWK etc. *Performance: * • Performs benchmarks and has experience with synthetic load generating tools • Performs performance tuning by routinely monitoring usage graphs as application usage changes. • Performs capacity planning and infrastructure enhancements for anticipated growth. *Support: * • Documents clearly steps and procedures; trains NOC for first level support • Provides day to day level 2 support of the application to enable high availability • Minimizes the amount of downtime required to perform administrative tasks • Resolves any issues or outages within application uptime SLA. • Supports bigger dev and QA community for messaging environment *Skills and Requirements:* • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development/administration with at least 5+ yrs with weblogic and 3+ years with messaging • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Hands on experience with Java, WLST, Shell Scripting, Python/Jython • Working knowledge of JMX • Solid practical working experience in JVMs such as JRockit.
