QA Analyst
Role: This position requires an individual with solid, demonstrable skills
in quality assurance and functionality testing, with the ability and desire
to further his/her skills by learning testing tools and environments as
required. Candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound knowledge of
testing principles, quality assurance methods and regression testing.
Demonstrate a strong initiative to learn, collaborate, be proactive in
acquiring quality assurance knowledge and skills, taking on new assignments
and extending his/her knowledge.
Take on project assignments by understanding requirements, independently
testing code, demonstrating accurate translations of requirements and
reviewing results with peers and seniors.
Partner with the Programmers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to
understand changing business demands, formulate solutions and create an
atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork.
Retail POS experience is a must
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior QA Analysts to develop essential skills and
knowledge, Implement a learning schedule and demonstrate this knowledge by
way of work product.
Engage with the Development teams to document requirements of the team's
products, including software functionality (SAD), integration points and
platforms.
Work in conjunction with senior PAs to establish a testing strategy for
applications.
Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and
continuous improvement of testing process.
Engage in projects in the following phase(s):
Planning: Collaborate with the PM to understand requirements and develop
testing strategies.
Execution: Leverage testing tools to perform integration and regression
testing. Include security compliance considerations throughout the test
strategy development
