Also creates, implements and executes performance test scripts and test cases for software project releases. · Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Develops and maintains master test performance plan for software project releases. · Manages the overall test performance process per the testing methodology, and ensures the testing methods meet the specifications. · Specifies, builds, manages and organizes relevant test environments and infrastructure. Uses script checks to verify a healthy test environment. · Develops, maintains and upgrades performance test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. · Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms. · Controls and manages daily test performanceactivities. · Provides internal quality assurance. · Identifies risks and develops mitigation strategies. · Reports on progress of the test performance process. · Evaluates the overall test performance process. · Coordinates project planning efforts with other areas or cost centers affected by work unit projects. · Coordinates performance testing when new or major changes are made to an infrastructure. · Administers and controls test tools. · May mentor or train other Performance Testers in processes, methods, tools and best practices. · Performs other related duties as assigned. *Complexity of Work*: Moderately routine; general policies applied.
