Job Description: 


Senior Business Systems Analyst is required to provide functional support
for the Remedy ITSM 7.6 Application Suite (Incident, Problem, Change,
Service Request, Config). This role requires the ability to be the main
liaison between IT users and technical teams to identify, analyze and
translate needs into specifications. The Analyst will be responsible for
gathering and documenting functional requirements, basic UI design and
report requirements. The Analyst may also lead small teams for specific
projects.

Required Skills/Role Responsibilities:
- Candidate must possess strong analytical skills and good organizational
skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering and
development 
- Advanced experience with systems analysis and functional design 
- Ability to work with the users through meetings and interviews to elicit
and document all system requirements in a Business Requirements Document
- Strong experience with documentation and problem resolution 
- Strong meeting facilitation skills
- Thorough knowledge of user interface principles as related to the Remedy
7.6 "Best Practice Views".
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and related change
management best practices
- Flexible role will also include some application testing, process design
and project management
- Ability to present ideas and information in group settings 
- Ability to conduct end user training
- Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with
users
- Ability to quickly acquire and effectively demonstrate new knowledge

Technical Skills:
- Has strong experience or performed a lead role in Remedy ITSM 7.x
application implementations
- Thorough knowledge of Remedy ITSM 7.x application functionality and
foundational elements
- Knowledge of ITIL principles of Service Management
- Experience in requirement management tools such as Rational and Quality
Center preferred
- Knowledge of project planning and estimation is a plus
- Ability to understand application architectures
- Ability to comprehend the methods and processes involved in software
configuration management and version control
- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus
