*Overview:*

You will be joining the Investment Bank Technology division within the Fixed
Income Prime Brokerage Technology group.

The candidate will be exposed to all the applications that support the end
to end Fixed Income Prime Brokerage process, which includes STP trade
capture, reporting, client facing portal and repo financing.

The successful candidate must be intrinsically motivated, with proven
logical problem solving abilities, and clear communication skills.

In summary, candidate primary responsibilities include:-

   - Support on-going system operations, as well as software upgrades on
   applications related to the Fixed Income Prime Brokerage end to end
   process
   - Provide root cause analysis, temporary and long term fixes on system
   issues. Must be able to debug production issues and recommend solutions
   - Provide accurate, concise and prompt communication to Business
   stakeholders on system issues and fixes.
   - Ensure system fixes are implemented into production environment and
   post implementation checks are done.
   - Must be very hand-on technical
   - Should know Unix, Perl, Sybase, C and writing scripts for these
   environments

*Responsibilities:*

The responsibilities for this role will include:

   - Monitor and respond to inquiries and requests from system users.
   - Communicate system changes to relevant stakeholders.
   - Facilitate user acceptance testing for system changes.
   - Facilitate new clients onboarding testing.
   - Act as liaison between the Business users community and the IT
   infrastructure,
   - Vendor, and/or varies other teams to communicate issues and coordinate
   resolutions to issues in production environment. Candidate will be expected
   to troubleshoot and document steps and parameters surrounding issues
   reported in production environment.
   - Research problems related to all applications used by Fixed Income
   Prime Brokerage and their integrating pieces (application and environment)
   and recommend and implement resolutions.
   - Coordinate implementation of fixes into the production environment.
   Follow JP Morgan Chase Change Control processes and procedures.
   - Maintain an up to date record of production issues using a Problem
   Management utility (such as Jira or Mercury Quality Center).
   - Analyze performance and capacity issues with systems / applications
   software and/or application components.

Candidate's activities will be guided by rigorous system development life
cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices; other processes related
to regulatory or compliance requirements; and change control and problem
management procedures.


*Technical Qualifications:*

·         Experience in one or more of the following business areas: Fixed
Income Securities Clearance process and Hedge Funds.

·         Experience with the following applications:

i.                    Sybase

ii.                  Unix

iii.                DB2

iv.                IMPACT, Broadridge application (highly desirable)

v.                  FinPro, Broadridge application (highly desirable)

vi.                General knowledge of MQ messaging process

vii.              MS Excel, Project, Word

viii.            Mercury Quality Center defect tool (highly desirable)

ix.                Jira (not mandatory but preferred)

x.                  XML Spy or Eclipse (not mandatory but preferred)

·         Intermediate to advance experience with the following computer
languages:

1.      SQL and ability to query databases using software like DB Artisan;

2.      Perl,

3.      C and

4.      Auto-sys jobs.

   - Previous experience in high level system and business architecture.

·         Basic to intermediate knowledge of three or more of the following
financial products:

i.                    Domestic and International Bonds

ii.                  Repos

iii.                TBAs

iv.                MBS

v.                  CMO

vi.                Hybrid Arms

vii.              Pools

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field.

·         5 to 8 years of IT work experience in systems programming /
analysis
