We currently have a *6 Months* *Contract to Hire** *opportunity for a *Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer* with our client located in *Rochester, MI.*** * * *****LOCALS PREFERRED…….F2F INTERVIEW MUST……..* *Job Description:* · Client is looking to hire an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with good communication skills · 5+ years experience with Oracle10g, PL/SQL, and HTML & JavaScript. · Bachelors Degree required. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - Proficiency in Oracle 9i/10g database design and relational model development - Must have at least 5 years of experience in ORACLE 9i/10g and PL/SQL development - PL/SQL must be complex coding development- not simply massaging data for reports - Must have proficiency with HTML and JavaScript - Must have at least 5 years of clear hands-on experience with OO design/development - Design & development experience of complex procedures, functions, packages, triggers - Experience with cursors, dynamic SQL generation, constraints and indexes - Demonstrated experience throughout the entire SDLC; analysis, designing systems, development and writing test cases - Solid requirements definition experience and ability to write technical specifications - Understanding of advanced Oracle and SQL features to include directories, external tables, analytic functions, and bitmap indexes, among others - Must be a team player with good communication skills & be able to work independently - Must be flexible- able to work and excel in a fast paced, highly transactional environment where you will be called upon to multi-task, handle numerous and changing priorities - Maintain an awareness of trends within the technology industry *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** - PL/SQL Developer is responsible for developing software based on a defined set of design and performance requirements - This position will work closely with other developers (both Java and PL/SQL), Business Analysts and functional customers - The position involves innovative use of object-oriented principles to produce reusable code, increase maintainability, speed development, and enhance many areas of the project such as reporting, data management, and database access - Perform complex analysis, design and development - Responsibilities include application trouble shooting and debugging PL/SQL code, SQL performance tuning, and PL/SQL programming of new features given minimal guidance. - Perform in accordance with established project standards and processes - Individual must be a self starter, capable of comprehending existing system design and willing to work with the customer to understand functional requirements to devise workable functional and technical solutions Please email your MS Word resume to *[email protected]* and include the completed skills-matrix in the body of your email.
