Job Description

SAS is the required technology expertise, with specific skills in SAS
Foundation / Platform Administration and SAS 9.2 Upgrade. Able to define and
document SAS environment standards, back-up strategies, guidelines and
process that collects performance metrics. As part of SAS environment
configuration, establish best practices on data and metadata security.
Understand / monitor SAS environment storage growth and work with user areas
to develop purge criteria. Perform integration of various SAS modules,
document / validate SAS Enterprise Guide code deployment approach & process.
These skills are required for the SAS Administrator resource, and apply to
the job description, qualifications and experience below.



Business Intelligence (BI) Architect - SAS Administrator

This individual under general supervision, works in a environment which
includes business intelligence architecture, environment administration &
software upgrades, performance tuning and BI report application development.
Provides direction and guidance to less experienced team members. Works with
business areas to understand their short and long term data analytic needs
and designs solutions to meet those needs.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:





·         Bachelor's degree with 8  - 10 years related work experience or
significant equivalent work experience

·         5 - 7 years performing the role of SAS Administrator related to
different SAS product implementations

·         3 years experience supporting SAS analysts and business areas that
perform quantitative / statistical functions

·         3 years project management experience

·         4 years experience with networking and security requirements and
issues in the use of data movement (e.g. - database/data warehouse access,
data replication, data extraction, data distribution)

·         Demonstrated knowledge  of various data related functions such as
data integration, data modeling, metadata management, data replication,
business intelligence, data cleansing and profiling,

·         data governance and database administration

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Strong teamwork skills within I.S. and client community

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments
