*We are in search of a Sr. Storage Engineer for our client company in
Burbank, CA.*
*Project length: 2/1 to 6/30*
*Rate: $60/hr*
*Location: Burbank, LA Metro, Local resource highly preferred.*
*Skill Description:*
*Senior Resource with good teaming skills*
*Experience with Systems Engineering. Specific focus on building
server and high performance SAN solutions *
*Experience implementing data networks including configuring SAN
switches*
*Experience implementing, configuring, and tuning a shared storage
system for large media files, preferably NAS*
*Intermediate to expert knowledge of:*
*Quantum StorNext or Atempo file system*
*Archive solutions (Storage Manager, DIVArchive) and LTO tape
libraries *
*At least one UNIX scripting shell *
*Experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware,
Hyper-V, etc.) *
*Experience in network, infrastructure and systems design and
problem solving *
*Strong verbal and written communication skills*
*Experience interacting with 3rd party vendors *
