Position requires a well rounded programmer/analyst with highly technical hands-on development experience as well as Project Management / Analytical / Business skills. Ø Plan, design and develop web-based applications to support the client's customer-facing websites including eCatalog and eCommerce applications. Ø Hands-on programming of new and existing eBusiness applications is a critical job component. Ø As required, responsible for the complete system development life cycle - producing detailed User Requirements, Functional/Technical Specification, Coding, Testing, and Implementation. Ø Provide support of existing applications including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and minor enhancements of existing applications. Ø Configuration and administration of third-party utilities and applications as required to support eBusiness. *Position Requirements/Technical Skills:* - 8-10+years of hands on working experience designing, coding, testing, documenting and maintaining web based applications in a multiple platform environment. External customer website experience preferred. - Development and implementation experience with the following technologies 1. Required: J2EE/Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and Oracle SQL. 2. Preferred: Unix, Dojo, Websphere, PL/SQL, Apache, and Shell scripting, - Experience authoring Business Requirements, Functional/Technical Specifications, Use Cases, Data Models, and Test Plans. - Must be self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of large team environment. - Excellent oral and written communication.
