Familiar with Black Duck (preferred) or Palamida software IP license scanning software. Understands the various open source software licenses available and has some familiarity with open source projects and their associated licenses. Knowledge of Linux and basic scripting. Able to implement a scanning process for engineers to follow in order to have their code scanned. Able to run scans using the Black Duck tool and work with engineers to classify code licenses. Also to help engineer teams make decisions regarding licenses found within their code. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requires minimal direction toward daily goals and objectives.
