*Job Description #2- Technical Support Specialist*

*Duration: 6+ months*

*Skill set:
- Candidate must have 5+ years experience supporting and developing desktop
technologies in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to analyze technical and systems operations problems related to
Access and Excel VBA technologies.
- Preferred experience in the following areas: VBA application support,
Business Intelligence application support
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Excel and Access VBA applications
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Access/SQL Server and SQL skills
- In-depth technical knowledge of desktop systems hardware and software.
- Proven experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Performs low complexity (i.e. individual routines) analysis, design,
development and unit testing of VB software applications from user change
requests that resolve operational defect encountered in the production
environment.

Responsibilities:

- Daily operations and production support of Excel and Access VBA Executive
Dashboard application
- Daily production of a DRAFT and FINAL Executive Dashboard
- Attend and participate in daily operations and production support call for
the Executive Dashboard
- Technical Support to customers at all levels throughout the enterprise.
- Partnering with project team members to troubleshoot issues related to an
Excel and Access application
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professionalism and swift resolution
of open issues.
- Executing operational changes to the EUC based on Change Requests
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues related to the
Executive Dashboard application
- Provide updates to documentation of installation/support procedures and
policies/procedures related to the usage, installation, and support of the
Executive Dashboard applications
- Documentation of Dashboard application to provide FAQ’s for Knowledgebase
and eSupport.

Soft skills:
- Strong customer relation skills.
- Strong people skills along with strong teamwork, organizational, and
communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for communications with
managers, senior management, and internal customers.

Provide a daily health check of the O&T division

Day to day activities:
- Daily operations and production support of Excel and Access VBA Executive
Dashboard application

Must have’s:
Strong application troubleshooting experience
Excel and Access VBA experience
Previous development experience, VBA preferred.

Advanced Technical and analytical skills
SQL experience
Relational database management experience specifically Access, SQL Server or
Oracle

Like to have’s:
Business Intelligence experience

Years of relevant experience: 3-5 years*
