Job Description/Skills Required: • In depth experience on F5 load balancers, including an understanding of routing protocols BGP, OSPF, TCP, SSL, TLS, and application layer protocols including HTTP, SSH, SSL, and DNS. • Must have an understanding of load balancing strategies/ techniques, expertise in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates. • Needs to be able to complete basic configurations on the F5, including OS upgrades, and general troubleshooting of the devices. • Advanced skills of designing, coding, and troubleshooting iRules and iControls. • Strong scripting knowledge (PERL, etc.) Additional Desired Skills: Networking experience - Experience in managing network appliances. (cisco, lotus, etc.,) - Network segmentation. - Advanced routing - Network traffic sniffing & analysis Any web server/application server administration experience (Apache, IIS, weblogic, websphere, etc.,).
