Summary   

The Information Technology Department delivers superior customer experiences
through the development and support of front and back office systems while
focusing on ITs four core values: Partnership, Excellence, Innovation and
Efficiency. IT Server Infrastructure Teams key responsibilities are to
manage, update, architect and support the following infrastructure, Wintel
and UNIX servers, desktop experience, and storage systems to satisfy the
growing needs of ING DIRECT and its customers. 

Responsibilities   

-Technical lead for deployment and management of the following
infrastructure components: 
Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows servers, Enterprise messaging
with Exchange 
VMware ESX hosts/servers, Enterprise monitoring tools, Citrix
infrastructure, Microsoft SMS/SCCM 
-Maintain a stable Microsoft Windows and VMware ESX environment and deliver
the support services necessary to support the business needs. 
-Design and maintain Windows file sharing infrastructure and access
security. 
-Manage monitoring of server architecture to ensure high availability. 
-Administration of both Microsoft Windows server and VMware host/server
environments during scheduled maintenance windows. 
-Planning for supported infrastructure components, including capacity,
availability and performance related processes. 
-Respond to service requests and coordinate with other infrastructure team
members to ensure timely compliance with service level agreements, within
established change and problem management guidelines and processes. 
-Analyze current and future server technologies in accordance with company
strategic direction settings. 
-Provide after hours and on-call support as part of a rotation. 
-Perform frequent server health checks and implement patches to ensure
current revision level. 
-Monitor system resource usage and ensure adequate resources are available
to meet the IT requirements through resource scheduling and new resource
acquisition. 
-Respond to system failures and work with vendors to resolve issues related
to hardware and software. 
-Review current system and industry best practices and recommend technology
solutions that improve team efficiency. 

Qualifications   

-Strong understanding of Networking, Windows server 2003, Terminal Services,
Active Directory and GPO 
-Experience as a lead consultant in designing and deploying Citrix, Windows
and Active Directory projects 
-Knowledge of the Citrix Delivery Center methodology with specific attention
to the following technologies: 
Presentation Server 4.5 and Citrix XenApp 5.0,XenDesktop 3.0,Access Gateway
Advanced edition, XenServer, Provisioning Server, Web Interface 5x and
enterprise XenApp client/plug-in management, EdgeSight, HDX Technology 
-Experience with user profile management and End User Experience solutions. 
-Understanding of VDI 
-Experience with Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services and Terminal Services
licensing. 
-Knowledge and experience with Hypervisor technologies (VMWare, XenServer,
HyperV). 
-Solid understanding of Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN). 
-Knowledge and/or configuration of Citrix products including NetScaler,
WANScaler, and Access Gateway solutions.
