Position :Business Analyst - Global Wealth Management Location :BOWLING GREEN, New York Duration :6 Months
The IT Business Analyst is a member of the Application Development Services. The role requires credibility and confidence interacting with senior management, business unit and operations personnel, branch offices and the technology team across the full lifecycle of a project. The candidate will perform analysis activities on one or more strategic projects at the same time, which include: Participating in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements documentation, technical integration, testing, training and roll-out Driving the requirements gathering process, including identifying key business and IT contacts, eliciting requirements from business users and creating detailed functional requirements documents, use cases, wireframes, data flow diagrams, sample reports, or other similar artifacts. Acting as the interface and advocate between the business users and the development teams. Facilitating/assisting with User Acceptance Testing for the project by participating in test case documentation. Proactively identifying and managing issues to full resolution and providing status updates on progress. Skills Required 3+ years participating in medium complexity technology projects 5+ years hands-on experience performing detailed business analysis and requirements specifications creation 3+ years in financial services settings (preferably brokerage back-office systems) Critical thinking and translation of business needs into technology solutions Ability to analyze vague project requests and clarify into specific tasks, next steps and deliverables Excellent written/oral communication skills and listening skills Full systems development life cycle experience Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Solid knowledge of project/portfolio management techniques and Microsoft Project Ability to work independently with minimal hands-on management Skills Desired Working knowledge of software development techniques Working knowledge of mainframe, distributed and web technology platforms Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment Candidate should have flexibility to adapt as the project evolves -- Thanks & Regards Sirisha Suryadevara Manager-sales &recruiting Mutex Systems, Inc 50 Cragwood Road ; Suite 224 ; South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
